XESS HM (Hitch Mount) Energy Extender Series increases range up to 6 times. If your battery range is 250 mi this product could give you an additional 1500 mi.
The HM series of XESS systems is designed to provide extended miles range to any EV or Hybrid with a hitch receiver and are charged using your home or public charge point. The units are available in sizes from 100 to 500 kWh of electric power and ship complete with everything needed to connect to your vehicle. NOTE: a dealer option to install a power connector in parallel with your vehicle’s battery output is required, not provided by Daheco. All HM series units rigidly attach to the hitch receiver and provide one or two trailer type wheels to share the weight of the unit. Each has a pivot frame that allows full access to your vehicle’s bed or rear hatch. Installation is a one person operation where the unit has side caster jacks to roll the unit to and from the vehicle. When not attached to the vehicle these units offer backup power for your home or business through your home battery charger (must be bidirectional) adding value to ownership. These units communicate to an app to provide system information and visual extension of the rear area on your phone. For some models the dealer option provides an interconnect to integrate the rear sensors and camera into the vehicle’s command center. A future optional HIH or Hydrogen Infused Heat capability can extend the energy output up to 3 time (100 becomes 300).
